Why can't I update my Singapore mailing and residential addresses to a foreign one?

We currently do not support requests to update Singapore mailing and residential addresses to a foreign one. This includes updating your mobile number to a foreign one too. We do understand there might be genuine scenarios where this is needed, but it's not a feature we currently support.
