Can my credit limit be reduced because of my request for a credit limit increase?

Yes, this is possible. The Bank may still reduce limits or block further drawdowns where required under its credit risk policies (for example, due to lower income data retrieved from Singpass). 

If your limit is reduced or your account is blocked from new drawdowns, the Bank will inform you via the usual communication channels (email and/or in‑app message).
