What is the difference between the transaction date and posting date, and how does it affect rewards?

The transaction date is the day you click buy, while the posting date is when the merchant fully processes the payment with us. 

Your rewards eligibility and monthly spend milestones are calculated based on when the transaction officially posts to your account (posting date).
